Originally launched in 2010, Colorado Native began as a novel idea—craft a beer exclusively with Colorado ingredients and only sell and distribute right here in Colorado. But what started as a single beer quickly found success and became a family of beers. The challenge, however, was that consumers over time still associated the name Colorado Native with the original Amber Lager. We dove in with a strategic rebrand to position Colorado Native as a family of beers still dedicated to their Colorado roots but with packaging that supported the unique traits of each individual beer while distinguishing it as a member of the overall family. We isolated core equites: Colorado landmark illustration, wildlife and color. And then simplified and amplified those equities while creating a more consistent logo hierarchy as the linch pin to the entire portfolio. Colorado Native now boasts 12 beers in the portfolio and the tools they need to keep stoking their homegrown fire.

03 — 10th anniversary Package

Shorty after the brand relaunch Colorado Native celebrated their 10th anniversary. To commemorate the event we created a limited Barrel-aged Single Cask Imperial Porter. The night scene complete with shimmering starry sky emphasized the specialness of this rare dark brew. Sealed in custom tubes and hand numbered, these 500 special edition packages were distributed as gifts to Colorado Native partners.
